Usher CEO Departures Mills to depart addiction medicine group Penny Mills will retire as CEO and EVP of the $8.1M-revenue American Society of Addiction Medicine in June 2020, the Rockville, Md.-based group recently announced. Mills has led ASAM since 2010. During her tenure, the association grew from 3,000 members to more than 6,500 members. (ASAM added an associate membership category in 2018.) Staff has increased from 15 employees to more than 50. Before joining ASAM, Mills was VP at health care consulting firm Avalere Health.
